No Matter how frustrated you are… No matter how many practices you must attend, no matter how much studying is required, no matter how many personal problems you may have to overcome….DO IT! No matter how long it takes to reach your goal STICK WITH IT !
In the book “Outliers: The Story of Success” author Gladwell, sets apart the differences of highly successful people compared to others. One of the distinctions of those who excel in sports, hobbies, or professions is that they have been practicing their craft for 10 years or 10,000 hours. Gladwell makes it pretty clear that in order to be successful at anything from his findings you need to invest the time to perfect it.
We encourage you to stay in your programs and build stability. Consistency and steadiness prove to be strengths of winning programs and successful relationships.

Dr William P. Foster affectionately referred to as The Law or The Maestro, is the founder of the noted Florida A&M Marching "100" Band. He served as the band's director from 1946 until 1998 when he retired. His style and techniques revolutionized Marching Bands all over the world. Till this day The FAMU Marching 100 are a force to be reckoned with.
Mr Tony Nash of Morehead State has won 8 consecutive National Titles in cheerleading and has been named coach of the year!
Mr LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers has been playing basketball for approximately 20 years. Although he hasn’t won a NBA championship yet, he will and he has made major accomplishments along the way.
Mrs Beyonce Knowles-Carter has been a singer for approximately 20 years. Her expertise has allowed her to own her own company. The first the public saw her was on Star Search and since then she has been perfecting her craft.
Dr Farrah Gray became an entrepreneur at 6 years old and was one of the youngest millionaires ever. He is still perfecting his craft and still achieving. His book “Reallionaire” outlines his story from carrying a brief case at age 6 to earnings millions as a businessman by age 17.
Some people on this list people still in their 20’s! They made a decision early in life to take a craft and STICK WITH IT! You are never too young to start. Get Focused!
STICK WITH IT! The more you study about a subject the more you’ll know. The more you practice the better your skills will develop. The more you exercise the stronger and healthier you’ll be. Congratulations on your participation in team sports we encourage you to STICK WITH IT!
